ModaLisboa Trust: Pedro Pedro

Bom dia! No sábado tive oportunidade de assistir ao desfile de Pedro Pedro na Moda Lisboa. Confesso que gosto bastante deste evento, principalmente quando chega a hora de inicio do desfile, as luzes baixam, a música envolve-nos numa atmosfera de sensações e os modelos desfilam, um a um, encarnando uma personagem e transmitindo a essência da colecção, desenhada e pensada ao pormenor pelo seu criador! Nas propostas de Pedro Pedro para o próximo Outono-Inverno, podemos identificar uma mistura de moderno com minimalista. Os contrastes estiveram muito presentes, com drapeados, malhas, lãs, caxemira e pele. Um mix de tribal e ocidental. Adorei as cores apresentadas: branco, cinza, preto, camel e verde água.

Escolhi para a ocasião uma saia jacquard com o cós em pele que adoro e que vou usar bastante nesta primavera de certeza. Espero que gostem do look e das fotos?! Tenham um Grande Dia!

Good morning! On the last Saturday I had the opportunity to watch the fashion show of Pedro Pedro in Lisbon Fashion Week. I confess that I really like this event, especially when it comes the time to start the show, the lights go down, the music surrounds us in an atmosphere of sensations and the models start appearing one by one, embodying a character and conveying the essence of the collection, drawn and designed by its creator! The proposals of Pedro Pedro for next autumn-winter, we can identify as a mix of modern with minimalist. The contrasts were very present, with draping, knit, wool, cashmere and fur. A mix of tribal and western. I loved the colors displayed: white, gray, black, camel and green water.

I chose for the occasion a jacquard skirt with leather waistband that I do love and that I would use a lot this spring for sure. Hope you enjoy the look and photos of the show. Have a Great Day you all!

1º Aniversário Check out Fashion

Faz hoje um ano que nasceu o blog Check out Fashion.

Gostaria de agradecer todo o vosso apoio e por fazerem parte deste projecto que tanto gosto. Espero ter-vos por aqui por mais anos e que continuemos a crescer juntos. O vosso feedback é fundamental, pelo que não hesitem em propor sugestões de temas e novas rubricas que gostariam de ver por aqui. O mote deste blog vai continuar a ser positividade, pelo que em género de retrospectiva partilho alguns dos looks deste último ano. Qual o vosso favorito?!

I can't believe it, but its already been a year since I began the blog Check out Fashion.

I would like to thank you all for all the support and for being part of this project that I do love. Hope to have you around for more years to come and to continue to grow together. Your feedback is important, so do not hesitate to offer suggestions for new topics that you would like to see here. style books, from bloggers

São muitos os blogs que geram a publicação de livros. Na área da moda e lifestyle existem 4 que gosto bastante e que já moram na minha estante. São perfeitos para qualquer mulher que goste de moda, estilo e lifestyle. Hoje estreamos esta nova rubrica no blog - Livros. Fica a sugestão!?

There are many blogs that generate the publication of books. In the area of fashion and lifestyle there are 4 that I really like and that are perfect for any woman who likes fashion, style and lifestyle. Today we begin this new section on the blog - Books. Hope you like the suggestion!?

Cupcakes and Cashmere de Emily Schuman - surgiu a partir do blog com o mesmo nome. No seu livro, a Emily escreve basicamente sobre quatro temas: moda, beleza, decoração e culinária, que separa por estações do ano. É um guia cheio de bom gosto e criatividade para qualquer mulher, tal como o seu blog.

Cupcakes and Cashmere of Emily Schuman - came from the blog of the same name. Emily writes primarily on four themes, which are in the book: fashion, beauty, decor and cuisine. It is separated by seasons and is a guide full of taste and creativity to any woman.

Style Yourself - é um livro com dicas de estilo e street style de vários países. São 95 as bloggers presentes neste livro com várias sugestões de outfits nas várias estações do ano. Quem assina o prefácio deste livro é Jane Aldridge do blog Sea of Shoes que também colabora com várias fotos dos seus outfits em diversas ocasiões.

Style Yourself - is a book full of tips on style and street style from various countries. There are 95 bloggers present in this book, with several suggestions of outfits in various seasons. Who signs the preface of this book is Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes blog that collaborates with various photos of his looks.

Também em Portugal já existem alguns livros que surgiram a partir de um blog, é o caso do livro "Tanto roupa e nada para vestir" da Maria Guedes, que assina o blog Stylista. É um livro que nos fala do que é necessário para reformular o guarda-roupa e o visual. Algumas dicas básicas acompanhadas de ilustrações lindíssimas.

In Portugal there are already some books that came from a blog, is the case of "So many clothes and nothing to wear" from Maria Guedes that signs the blog Stylista. It is a book that tells us what we need to do to reformulate the wardrobe and our style, some basic tips accompanied by beautiful illustrations.

Ana Garcia Martins do blog A Pipoca mais Doce é uma das bloggers mais conhecidas de Portugal. Já editou 2 livros: o primeiro, um género de romance e outras teorias da vida e o 2º sobre estilo e imagem. Em "Estilo disse ela" são apresentados vários looks, para diferentes ocasiões, episódios descritos com grande humor e com fotografias da Ana que ilustram o seu texto. É um livro bastante alegre e cheio de boa energia.

Ana Garcia Martins from the blog A Pipoca mais Doce is one of the most best-known bloggers in Portugal. Has edited two books: the first more like a novel with some romance and other theories of life and the 2nd about style, image and suggestion of several outfits for different occasions. Always with great humor and photographs that illustrate their own subtitles. It's a really positive book with great energy.

jeans and fur coat

No Domingo aproveitei a promoção da 'best tables' para um brunch no Olivier Avenida. Sempre tive curiosidade de conhecer este espaço, não só pela comida mas também pela decoração e adorei cada detalhe. O ambiente é agradável e a comida deliciosa. Aproveitámos depois para um pequeno passeio, pelo que o look escolhido foi uns jeans e o casaco de pêlo bem quente, para o frio que se fazia sentir. Tenham uma óptima semana.

On Sunday I took the promotion of 'best tables' for a brunch at Olivier in Lisbon. I've always been curious about this place, not only for the food but also for decorating, and I must say that I love it. The atmosphere is nice and the food delicious. We took a nice walk then, so for the day I choose some jeans and a fur coat, very warm for the cold that was felt. Hope you like the look and the photos?! Have a great week.
